The latest edition of class rules, approved by the owners’ meeting on 28 April, has been added to the Technical area.

The final draft of the new edition of class rules has been issued to owners for comment.  A log of comments received and concomitant responses by the measurer has been opened and published on the Technical page.  The first Q&A clinic will be at the RCYC tonight from 1830 to 2000.

The final draft of the new edition of class rules is being prepared for distribution to owners ahead of the Spring Meeting.  It is planned to discuss the changes at Thursday evening winter socials.

The rules working group met yesterday evening and completed the first reading of the draft re-formatted class rules.  The Measurer will incorporate the agreed changes in a marked-up revised draft that will receive a second reading on Wednesday 21st.

Work on the new website is coming along nicely.  A link has been released to all boat owners so they can make a note of the dates in the 2018 racing calendar. They can also give feedback on the website.

The rules working group (Jeff, Neil H, Gilly, Roger G and Roger F) met last week to scrutinise the Measurer’s draft of class rules re-formatted in the World Sailing standard template.  Another meeting is scheduled for Wed 7 Feb, at which the first reading should be completed.  The Measurer will then amend the draft and re-issue it for a second reading.
